CoRoute Privacy Policy
CoRoute helps a group of riders stay together: it shows every member of your convoy on a map, lets you send quick status messages and SOS alerts, and provides a live voice intercom. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to delete it. We do not sell data, we show no ads, and we have no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. What we collect

Location, including in the background
While you are in an active convoy, CoRoute shares your position with that convoy even when the screen is off, so your ride mates can still see you and your SOS still works. A persistent notification is shown on Android while this is happening. Location sharing stops automatically when you leave the convoy, when the convoy ends, or when you sign out. No location is collected when you are not in a convoy.
Microphone
The microphone is used only while you hold the Talk button or have armed the hands-free (VOX) mode, and only inside an active convoy. Your voice is sent live to the members of your convoy (or to the single rider you selected) and is not recorded or stored by us.
Who can see your data
Members of the convoy you are in see your name, vehicle, phone, emergency contact, live position and messages. Nobody outside your convoy can see them. Service administrators can see active convoys for safety operations (for example to dissolve an abusive convoy or send a safety announcement); they cannot listen to intercom audio.
Where your data lives
Data is stored in an Oracle Cloud Autonomous Database and relayed by our server, both in the Oracle Cloud Hyderabad region (India). Connections use TLS. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. If you sign in with Google, we receive your e-mail and display name from Google; Google's own privacy policy governs that sign-in.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile and delete individual trips inside the app. To delete your account and all associated data, e-mail santhoshbukka5@gmail.com from the address you registered with; we delete within 30 days. You may also request a copy of your data. You can revoke location and microphone permissions at any time in your phone's settings; the app will then work in a limited mode.
Children
CoRoute is intended for licensed riders aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
